It’s going to be tough to use this blog to promote my fiction and poetry if I don’t start posting again, huh?
We’ve had a lot going on of late, which is why I’ve been neglecting the bloggage. I even missed out on touting a new poem of mine, called “Hummingbirds,” over at Every Day Poets. So, anyway, now that’s done.
I’ll get back to some kind of routine here soon, I think.

If you want to read my thoughts on poetry and other stuff, my interview with the editors at Every Day Poets is supposed to go live today.
It was a fun interview for me. I’m more accustomed to conducting interviews than being interviewed, but they made it fairly painless. I can’t promise that it will be painless for those of you who decide to read it, though …

Another of my poems went live online today at Every Day Poets. You can read “A Buddha’s Walk” right here, if you are so inclined.
If reading zen poetry makes your ears bleed, you probably should skip it. If, on the other hand, you ignore that warning, read the poem and decide you are interested, then you might want to return to Every Day Poets on May 20, when they will publish an interview with yours truly.

My interview at Every Day Poets will appear online May 20, the editors tell me.
It was an email interview and I’ve answered all the questions and sent it back. I fear I may have set a personal best mark for pedantic blathering.
